Bushwick open studios june1-3 2012
Its open studios again. the time when we celebrate our artist peers, some of whom set a standard high enough to intimidate, others who throw all sensibility to the wind and rain. We are called here to question our own place, to draw inspiration, to find common ground, to call into question the very motivations behind our own artwork and methods. But mostly we hope there is free food, or the promise of it.
The following is a short list of basic visual observations made not of the artwork, but the people who accompanied me throughout the day's hapless romp. (click on the images for larger view)
